“Conservatism facilitates the greatest expression of human greed. It takes legislation in a society to promote adequate care for the destitute dispossessed and infirm as the human heart is ultimately selfish. The UK Government is quickly dismantling legislation and all help so there will be little or no safety net. It will take billions to redress the damage done” (Paul Stokes)

Hi,
I’ve just heard a piece written by Goretsky (Gorecki) when he heard about Helena Blazusiak words which she wrote on the wall of a Gestapo prison cell in Zakopane-they invoke the protection of the Virgin Mary. This is from the his 3rd Symphony-”Symphony of Sorrowful Songs”-2nd movement. The piece is one of those sad and beautiful pieces. It composes of Soprano and Orchestra. I was absolutely entranced by the beautiful tones. I think it was on Classic FM.
Cheers Paul
